A resident in Camden since 1950, Camden Local Studies and Archives Centre hosted an exhibition as part of Camden’s 2017 India arts programme. It chronicled Ribeiro’s connections with the borough, its evolving cultural scene and his watercolours in Camden’s Art Collection. Alongside archival material, the exhibition exhibited Ribeiro’s sculptures, his poetry and other writings and brought to life his studio.
The talk ‘Lancelot Ribeiro, Life and times of a Camden painter’ was given by Ribeiro’s biographer, David Buckman.
